OUR STORY

We at the Veritas Group are providing vital services for the farmers who feed our country and the world! Through our call centers, we have contacted owners, CEO’s and Presidents of various Agri-businesses and farms throughout the world. Veritas has signed contracts with 20 locations to be installed this year and 20 more to be installed by 2022. The business model is simple, we offer these farmers a way to clear up their agricultural residue. Agricultural residue/waste can include rice hulls, corn husks, tree trimmings, lumber chips, dried leaves, cattle/pig/poultry/animal poop, etc. On an average these agri-businesses generate 40 tons of waste/residue per day. In our facility in Northern California, we will be processing agricultural residue from over 22 different farms. That adds up to over 880 tons of waste/residue per day. We turn around and process this waste/residue and turn them into 5 income producing commodities.

1. Bio Electricity

2. Bio Gas

3. Terra Preta Soil

4. Activated Charcoal

5. Carbon Credits

The McDonald’s business model

We have always believed in building an empire by owning real estate.

Take For example, McDonald’s.

Consumers think of McDonald’s as a burger restaurant, but in the business world, McDonald’s is considered a real estate company.

It is a known fact that McDonald’s has sold more than one billion hamburgers to customers around the world, Between the burgers and the land, McDonald’s makes a lot more of its money on the land.

McDonald’s owns thousands of iconic pieces of real estate around the globe. From New York City’s Times Square to Moscow’s Red Square, McDonald’s has ventured around the world, buying up prime real estate. Franchisees pay McDonald’s a cut of their food sales, but a much larger portion of McDonald’s revenue comes from the rent it’s paid on its real estate. After all, rent in Times Square isn’t cheap, but a Big Mac is.

McDonald’s still takes a royalty on its franchisee’s sales but enjoys a much fatter revenue stream from the leases on nearly 33,000 franchisee-owned restaurants.

“The Founder,” a 2016 film about McDonald’s history explains the dynamic succinctly: “You don’t build an empire off a 1.4% cut of a 15 cent hamburger, you build it by owning the land on which that burger is cooked.”

The Razor and Blades model

We are actively following the model which made Gillette a titan in their industry. The old adage goes, “Give away the razors and sell them the blade” still applies today. Look at your mobile phone companies that give away expensive cellular phones only to tie up their customer with a lengthy and expensive monthly contract. We offer these farmers a way to eliminate their waste at no cost to them, in turn they sign a long term contract to purchase the commodities from us. It worked for Gillette decades ago and it still works for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile today.
